I am so glad to hear that there are still people going camping this Easter, after reading threads by people cancelling or having their trips cancelled. I am still pretty new to camping and am really worried about going away next week, but I feel somewhat buoyed up by so many people forging ahead!

OH and me are off to Great Langdale tomorrow. Thinking of her (in the minus degrees C) we've gone "shall we shan't we" all week but we're off.  At the worst we come back early but we'd both hate to be stuck in the house and find out it wasn't that bad after all (and anyway there's always the pub).

Weare going tomorrow whatever the weather we don't mind, but got ex husband to dog sit as i didn't want her ruining the new tent eeeekkk hope she'll forgive me lol.. but hellllooooo new tent, big muddy paws!!

We are also off to West Fleet! We were booked into Portesham Dairy Farm, just up the road, but he phoned this evening to say the site was water logged and he was closing to tents! The lady at West Fleet said some pitched were soggy and fenced off, but has saved me one for tomorrow morning!! Can't wait!

we are also going to riverside in skipton!! we're off tomorrow and return on monday so will probably miss you . I'll write a post on here and let you know what the pitches are like!! thats if i can get a broadband signal
