I have quite a decent amount of camping experience, but each summer I am troubled by the storage of the gas bottles. Last summer we were camping on two of the hottest days and I couldn't relax as I was wondering the safest place to keep the bottles. I haven't got the guts to ask my very experienced mates! Any advice?
We just keep it outside with the Cadac.
Most of the places you get them from store them outside so I don't see any problems.
At home we store it with a lot of the other camping gear in the cold room (back room)
We keep ours in the extension as well & in a shed at home, if the weather affected them they would be covered in warnings so dont worry.
Paulsmith250 just seen your review on the Monty canopy & Pat said where did we take the picture, its the same canopy ,bottle, cooker stand & even the old red EPIgas cooker, she had to look twice to see it wasnt ours, spooky hey.
