I notice you've got an Outwell carpet on the floor in one of your pictures. I was thinking of using mine in the new bell tent for the moment (as I've no money left to buy lovely rugs!) but how did you get it under the central pole? Do you crawl around in the collapsed tent laying it out on the groundsheet or do you somehow slide it under the central pole once it's up?
I unzip the zig when i pitch it
Lay the carpet on the groundsheet
zip the sides on
then just slide the pole to the centre of the carpet where there is a hole
simples!
The other option is to slit the carpet in the middle to the centre, then just lay the join under the bed - can put the carpet down after the tent is erected then (no chance of getting the carpet under the pole once it's up and pegged)
