hey all, im relatively new to this site, well been a member for a while but mainly just skim through the threads without posting anything, so hi all.

finally convinced the OH to let me buy a new tent after being to numerous tent shows around aberdeen, we had the Eurohike Calder but i  wanted the upgrade, so ive literally just bought the Vango Tigris 600 with carpet and footprint, thoughts anyone? were off to the ben nevis campsite for the may bank holiday, brilliant campsite. anyways, hello again all.

Hey Martyn,

We are off there too for the May bank holiday, there are a few of us going 6 adults & 4 kids are you booked?.

This will be our first trip with our new tent so don't laugh at us trying to pitch it and don't forget if you see us to say hi.

i'll do you a deal, i wont laugh at you if you dont laugh at me having our arguments with my OH, you got to love the pitching arguments. deal? haha

havent booked, i phoned them a week agao and said that they will definately have spare pitches, they hold 200 for the people that just arrive, i think that should be more than sufficient and not willing to pay the £10 for a booking when i dont really need to.

have you stayed there before? we've stayed a couple of times and although it can be a bit muddy its a brilliant campsite. 

Hiya not stayed before personally but my brother is coming with us and he has stayed there a couple of times.

We have booked simply because there are a few of us and we want to be together plus we are lightweights and need our ehu and heaven forbid we didn't have that! lol!

Looking forward tent getting delivered tomorrow, wasn't in when they tried before but staying in tomorrow especially!
