Nearest one I can think of is in Didcot which is South Oxfordshire, its called The Wave and I found this link. In Oxford we also lack a decent 'fun pool'.
Well, we just got to pack the car...forecast is grim, but we are going to have a laugh no matter what, lots of playing cards and monopoly with an aperitif by the looks of it!
We're feeling the same about the weather but how many schoolboy errors can we make - haven't managed to get the tent up on a trial run (only managed to inventory it) - going somewhere never been before, not able to leave till 3 today so going to be probably 6 and not much light left before we get there if we're lucky with the traffic - terrified but very very excited!!! Will defo use the hints etc given on here - thanks all for advice
here's to typical may bank holiday weather lol - an adventure it will certainly be! let you know how it goes when we're back

Rural Oxfordshire is going to be bathed in glorious sunshine all weekend...
I have just shelled out for waterproof trousers and jackets, so its bound to be suntan weather!
Christine
I would just like to point out that Rural Oxfordshire did indeed beat all of the weather forecasts... we arrived in glorious sunshine on Friday afternoon and barbied in the evening...
It rained overnight but was loverly all day Saturday... we got burned at Blenheim, bbq again Saturday evening - it started to rain around 7pm but we had an indoor room booked and had a great party.
Admittedly it hammered down overnight and Sunday morning was miserable, but as we had to get up at 7am to come back to MK for a footie match it didn't bother us as by the time we got back at 3pm it was lovely and dry again...shame for all those people who had packed up and left early really as it never rained again.
Monday was glorious... packed in bright sunshine and had a picnic lunch before we left.
So - didn't use ANY of the waterproofs, didn't need a heater, the board games and cards didn't see the light of day and I was too HOT during the night with just a sleeping bag!!!

We too pitched in sunshine, topped up the tan Saturday by playing footie with the kids. Had really heavy rain over night but dry again sun/mon although temps really dropped. So pleased we didn't listen to the weather forecast as we had a brill weekend!!
