Does anyone know whether you could insert the wooden poles from a stripey windbreak into the pole sleeves of either the Khyam or Gelert canopied windbreaks so you don't need the guyropes?

Oh - yes, which is better - the Khyam or the Gelert one? and is the Gelert one flame retardant? I know the Khyam one is.

I've bought the Khyam one (direct from them for £24 +P&P)  The poles supplied are quite thin and a snug fit in the sleeve so there's no chance of using wooden poles...  Also, at 1.4m, I reckon it's taller than a stripey windbreak?
