Would it be a good idea to store a continental quilt in a compression sack, I have started using a quilt in the tent rather than a sleeping bag, I have never been comfortable in a bag as I hate being restricted I do have an envelope bag that I use when I have to but I absolutely hate mummy style bags with a passion

So trying to save a bit of space would it be ok to put a quilt in a stuff sack or a compression sack?

On our recent trip away we used the vacum sacks for our pillows and extra bedding that we took, It really did help in the way of space saving, they just layed flat in the bottom of the roof box.

So would def recommend them!
