at poppy.dog Boy they must have been slacking I can pitch mine fully on my own much faster than normal tents and get comment from other campers at how quick it is. Maybe they were having a few beers while pitching it lol
no beers, a few "words" and looking after a littlun, but I think mainly they'd bought EVERYTHING extra they could. I have to say it put us off the idea.
------------- Yes, the car is bigger than the 'van.
PaulBB I was thinking of getting the Oztent RV3 for my Berlingo / Amdro Boot jump setup. You've both praised it, and highlighted issues. I was looking to get it from Norwich Camping, also a UK importer. A few years down the line, would you still recommend the Oztent?
The Oztent does look good.
We are living abroad at the moment, have wild camped here on the beach and up the mountains.
When I saw the Oztent on the Internet, I thought how good it would have been to bring one here, would have been ideal. But too late now, as I'll be home to uk this summer 😀
The Oztent is no doubt a good design it was just a shame I had a bad experience with mine most of which was down to the attitude of the dealer I purchased it from (who I successfully took to court)
Oztents are made in China, like everything else. The naming is a con job. They are a symbol of the general laziness that has infected society. Average quality quick tents at a premium price. Did I mention, they're not made in Australia?
------------- If there's no camping in heaven. I'm not going!

These look totally amazing. Can you tell me, do they come with inners? Are inners needed? How much space do you actually get, and with two together?
So many questions but they look awesome!
No they don't or didn't when I brought one come with inners. Yes they do need inners as you get condensation on the frame which runs down to floor making a puddle. I made my own inner out of some mesh material which reduced this also there where vents over the door which if kept open help.
As for room all depends on the size personnely when it comes to tents I always buy bigger than I need for example for 2 people i would go for 3 or pref 4 person tent better to have to much space than not enough

Well I wouldn't say the name is a con job as the tent WAS designed by an Ozzy and originally made in Australia its just like everything these days make it in China for peanuts then charge like it was made by people who have not been exploited
