If, unfortunately, when packing your tent away and it's a large tent i.e. 6 man plus and (with our weather!) it's raining, how do you dry out your tent when at home before packing it away?
If you have a large enough garden then re-erect asap mould is your enemy. If not have heard of people using their banisters to hang it over or lay it out in a room on the floor and just keep turning it as often as possible. If it is just wet when you pack away and not actaully raining give it a good wipe off with your towels before you pack it up then when you get home the bag wont be full of too much excess water.
A childrens swing and slide in the garden is very useful! We dried our Vango Diablo out by draping it over the swings and swishing it about. It was dry in no time.

Love to hear some methods etc.
I am fortunate enough to have access to a central heated room that is huge fully carpeted and totally empty it makes a great drying room
Hi , have replied before to a post similar to this, but as our tent is inflatable, we are able to erect it in the living room, leave overnight and take down in the morning bone dry!
Ours is a Khyam Aspen, 8 x 4 mtrs, our garden is no size at all and our 2 bed house is even smaller ! We're dreading trying to dry it out.. our Ridgidome XXL was hard enough to dry but then it wears it's poles permanently !

If you really cant find anywhere at home, try asking if you can leave it spread out in the local community centre or school hall overnight , for a donation to their funds.

KARSTEN CAMPERS DO IT WITH INFLATABLES (OO ER!)
We hang ours over the bannisters and just keep moving it about until all bits are dry. It's a pain and not beautiful but it works and cheaper than having to buy a new tent because it goes mouldy.
