Hi fellow campers just had a look at Met Check weather for next weekend looking warm .We are going on our first trip of the year Riverside at Skipton, with our new addition Maritsa 500 im sooooooo excited feel like a child at Christmas.Hope whatever everyones doing it will be warm and sunny.

Ooh let's hope it keeps up now. We're in Skegness next weekend, not camping though, we're at Butlins for my son's rugby teams end of season reward trip. Camping the week after though

Make sure you got some waterproofs then the rain wont stop you if you do get a bit. Here's hoping you have as much sun as we have, OH is bright red tonight oops to much sun!

I always find this site more accurate.. xcweather. Only gives 5 days but that's about all they can forecast anyway.

Thanks everyone counting down now 5 sleeps.Thanks for that website neilster iv just been on .Wev just ordered some new gear from outdoor Megastore a Kampa kitchen unit and a Vango 4 pole Windbreak should come on tues.Plus got our first camping trailer on friday so well pleased its all coming together.

I checked it for bank hol weekend as we are going away and it doesnt look too bad then too. As long as its dry. Have a fab time when you go and fingers crossed for the weather for you all.

I know its a bit early for Witsun week forecasts but I felt a little deflated having searched the next 10-14 days to find its going to be pretty nice in most parts only to see the forecast for the 1st week of June (after the B/H weekend) looks like clouds and rain again. So bloody typcial since due to previous cancelled B/Hol this year, and other commitments, June will be our 1st trip this year.

Mind you, i'm pretty determined to go anyway in the circumstances.

I've stopped looking at the forecasts any earlier than 4 days or so ahead - I can't count the breaks I've cancelled/changed only to find weather nothing like expected! I tend to take my chance now.

I've been watching the forecasts too. Off to the Isle of Wight on Friday for 5 nights then stopping off at Greenhill Leisure Park on the way back for another 5 nights. Hope they've got it right as it looks good at the moment!
