Well back from Low Way Farm Holwick in teesdale, near middleton.
Nice if basic site, just the road or should that be track is a little steep and not for lower slung cars, but manage to get in and out.
Had the entire field to ourselves the first night, and awaoke to a good frost on the tent the following morning, after breakfast we set off to high force following the Pennine way that runs along the bottome of the field, long walk but worth it, lots to see along the way.
The vango wind break again proved its worth when the gusts started on saturday evening, we were woke up twice with the tent shaking and bending in the gusty swirly wind.
But awoke in the morning with everything in place not a guy line out of place, we had breakfast and where packed up in an hour, without any more of the rain that had come in the morning. the steep hill on the way out proved interesting, very loose gravel at the top not good in a front wheel drive but made it out.
Loads of pics here
that our third sor far this year and plenty more to go.
