if it's a standard fibregalss pole you just need to find out what diameter it is and go to your local camping store and buy a replacement pole section. It'll probably come too long so you'll need to cut it to size, then you just thread it back on.

I may be wrong but I think you can buy a single replacement pole? I know the local camp shop near me does them, all depends if its a common type of pole?

We had a pole that split rather than snapped. I covered it in duct tape and have been using it for a year now. Brilliant stuff! But the website we bought the tent from did send us a replacement pole so worth asking.

Hi rsp2, presume you are refering to fibreglass poles, yes you can replace individual sections, you will have to measure the diam. and length of the pole (or take it with you) to a camping supply shop where you should be able to obtain another, also you can buy a repair kit which includes elastic and a length of thin WIRE for threading up your poles again. If the elastic hasnt broken, you could re-use it, and, if you can find a length of thin wire yourself, you can save the cost of buying the repair kit, (about a fiver) Hope this helps. Regards, Mick.

If you don't fancy the DIY approach most camping stores offer a repair service. Even our local (Wakefield) Go Outdoors repairs poles.

Cheaper if you DIY obviously.
