Great looking tent but would think take quite an effort to put it up. Would think you need a trailer just to move the tent with 4 bags weighing 40kg each
We looked at that too when we were camping in the New Forest last weekend. It's a classy looking tent indeed and would take a bomb to shift it probably.
Still don't like un-sealed bedrooms though. All those creepy crawlies in your bedroom Also as my OH said, as he's over 6ft tall the kitchen unit would have to sit so far away from the sides so he could stand and use it and not hit the sloping roof, you would lose loads of floor space. Still lovely tent though.

Sorry, meant to add that apparantly it's mainly bought for campsites to hire out, like yurts etc as it's quite a bulky unit.
yep, salesman mentioned that
said they hired them out at £400-£500 a week pre-erected on the site. Expected to last about 4 seasons used like this

I didn't like the unsealed bedrooms either, nice tent but I prefered the table lol
I'm confused! I took a real shine to the 'Lodge' after seeing it in the Cabanon brochure earlier in the year, I even enquired with Camperlands re price and availability. This thread seems to be talking about the same tent, but the one featured in the brochure (and that Camperlands were keen to sell me!) was most definitely a trailer tent! I agree that as a standard tent with 4x40kg bags it would be a bit impractical, but as a trailer version it's a real beaut and highly desirable! I can only guess that they do 2 versions, but it seems strange that Forest Camping would display the one more suited to commercial buyers!
