We've got the Vango pillows as they pack small but found they go a bit flat. Got an inflatable pillow from the 99p shop so going to put them both in a pillowcase and see if that does the trick. If that doesn't work going to try using a memory foam pillow. We did try vacuum bags but popped one on the way - not sure my son found it as entertaining as us to watch as he was sat next to it at the time!

We have these too, I think they are the closest thing you will get to a real pillow in a compact size.

I use an inflatable pillow and a cushion from Ikea on top. My OH uses a Vango pilow that is similar to a SIM and seems to get on ok with that.

Inflatable pillows just give us neck ache - we bought two memory foam pillows from our local pound store for £6 each. They are in zipped bags with handles too

Blow up pillows are just too hard. I found it really difficult to get comfortable. We take our pillows from the bed and put them across the back seat of the car with a blanket over them. The dogs have a lovely comfortable ride!!
