You don't say where in the United Kingdom you are, but in Bristol there's a brilliant firm called Kinswood Canvas. Google them or search on here & you'll find them.
Near Gloucester, in fact just off J13 of the M5 you have Attwoolls. Google them & you'll find their website & contact details. Both are excellent & well worth using a Courier to get your tent to them for repair if there's no one near you.
They may have accounts with courier firms which would get your tent collected & delivered on their account for less than you can get it done. I recently sent an item back to a company & it was far cheaper for them to get their account courier to colect it & me pay them than for me to engage a courier for the job.
