Managed to pack everything away other than the footprint on Sunday before the rain came. It is stored in the house and we are going away a week on Friday , should i still air it or will it be ok until it comes out again ?

The footprint will be ok because it is basically a plastic sheet. But it may start to smell musty so I would try and dry it off in the house.

If it is still wet next time you pitch that moisture will stay between the tent and footprint till you go home then when you put the tent away the underside of the SIG will be wet and you will have to dry the SIG as you pack it away.

we pitched in torrential rain the first time we used our footprint and camped for 2 weeks (with it upside down!!!)  and it now STINKS we have scrubbed it and used it numerous times since and it still STINKS!  

Drying it out would prevent having a smelly footprint!   on that note..... does anyone know how to un-smell a footprint!

Just hung it over the line even though it is raining , hopefully it will dry soon , was sill wet through when i opened it.

Didn't realise how big it was until i tried to get i over the line
