oh no! What a shame! I ordered our wolf lake 7 tent carpet from there. It came damaged (not there fault, just a fault off the production line) I rang them and they couldn't do enough for me!! Helped me out as much as they could, by getting ahold of outwell, explaining my problem. In the end, they couldn't get me another carpet until the following season as everywhere was out of stock, so they sent me a tube of special glue and offered me a 50% discount! This was a couple of years ago. I always keep them in mind, if we are ever shopping for any camping stuff online, as the personnel experience we had with them was fantastic!

Hope everyone gets sorted with their problems. Lets hope that things pick up for the Somerset camping business.

the Tent shop is still open, ( I was there today). The accessories shop is closed, but seems to be still full of stock. All of the second hand caravans have gone, though I did notice 2 or 3 tin tents on wheels there today and a couple of people in the caravan sales office.

Anybody looking for alternatives near there could try taunton leisure, B&M camping or chelston Motorhomes.

just an update really on Somerset Camping.

I had reason to speak to Wynnster (Khyam) today regarding a groundsheet.  They were very helpful but during the call the lady did say that she was checking Somerset Camping - apparantly they are part of the same company.  She explained that the caravan side of the business had gone into administration but were due to open shortly under new management.

Somerset camping website is being updated today and that there may be difficulties if placing orders at the moment.

Yippe - the item I ordered yesterday has arrived just before lunchtime today.  I placed it via Wynnster website and at the bottom of their order confirmation by e-mail - says by Somerset Camping.  Lets hope that the problems experienced by others were just a blip.
