I've ordered a black sheet from a cheap textiles website with the intention to drape it over our bedroom pod to try to keep it darker in the mornings. Do you think it's going to work? Anyone else tried this?
Use eye masks already but they tend to slip when i move around. Can't say where we're going next Grizzlyking as i almost got stoned by the members on here for choosing to pay more for a site with loads of facilities!...
I'm seriously considering dying my inner tents a dark green. The Pullman canvas is a light grey and the blue we had with the Fiesta wasn't dark enough to stop me waking at sun up (whether the sun was out or not). I have used a machine dye succesfully before so it should work.
I got a black flat king size sheet from Tesco for £8, sewed a hem along the centre line, after folded lengthways and cut slots for the bedroom hangers to fit through then I tried it on the bed pod to get the length of each side and cut it just above the groundsheet level, so moisture did mnot wick up the sheet.. It certainly stopped a lot of light coming in, but it was very warm inside bed pods though. I didn't fit the sheet around the ends of the pods as I didn't think it warrented it.
