another vote for tenacious tape, you may have to buy it online, when i asked in Milletts and Blacks for it the staff had never heard of it.
GoOutdoors stock it these days, but I used to have to buy it online.

Any proper camping shop will stock tenatious tape.
I asked in our Millets for Coleman propane gas and they had no idea what I was on about - even though someone had seen it in their brance on a bogof offer - he even said they weren't stocking Coleman products anymore ........... a year on and I'm sure they still do.
I don't consider millets a camping shop though - it's more a wlaking/ourdoor clothes shop.
My Carolina 3 came with two large pieces of groundsheet material. I vaguely remember these might have been wrapped around the tent poles when first packaged. If you have the same you could cut a patch and stick it on, possibly both sides. Seam Grip or Stormseal are two recommended glues you can use.
I discovered a very small pinprick hole in my groundsheet which I am sure must have been there from new but I would never be able to prove it. When I discovered it, all I had to repair it with was a waterproof elastoplast. It is still stuck there and doing a good job...although it is underneath the bedroom pod out of sight
