Credit where credit's due ...

I recently spent loads of cash on a new tent (Outwell Wolf Lake 5), bought from Camping World in Frensham. Very nice people and they matched the best quote I'd been able to get after webbing/ringing around.

We put the tent up in the garden the next day, feeling very chuffed, only to find a little hole in one of the mesh doors. It wasn't big, but looked like it would get worse over time. Annoying.

I rang the shop, explained the problem, and told them I'd like to get a replacement. Today I took the tent in, they verified the hole in the mesh, agreed it wasn't good, and fixed me up with a new tent in a matter of minutes.

I can think of other ways this might have gone.

I've had the new tent out in the garden and it's spot on. Baking hot sunshine, but the polycotton and mesh doors are doing the trick nicely. We're heading off to the South of France in a month or so and can't wait to give it a proper go.

I'm very pleased I bought locally, and from a company that has good customer service.

Yes i am also really impressed with the customer service from camping world---we live in Germany but they have picked p our faulty tents and delivered new ones at no extra charge!!!

Great service that you cannot fault....we unlike you have had not one but 4 faulty outwell tents but unlike Outwell Camping world has been faultless.....


Wish you lots of fun with your new tent....

They have been brilliant with us too.  We bought an Easycamp Boston 500 at the start of the season but the quality of the stitching was horrible. The floor attatchments for the innertent were lifting after 1 use. Took it back and said that we had lost faith in the tent and they let us change it.

We paid a bit extra and upgraded to a Kampa Frinton 4 which then also had a issue with one of the inner tent webbing attatchments.  They've sent that off for repair for us now.

The guys in store at Frensham are really knowledgeable and helpful.

They have a store in Horsham as well now - they took over Camping Intl.  We bought all of our stuff from them recently. Very helpful and no quibbles at all on price matches.
