Hi - time to get the bell tent out again as we're off camping. I have a few questions:

I've forgotten how the groundsheet/tent are pegged out - if I put pegs through the holes in the tent and also the groundsheet, it means I can't tuck the tent flaps under the groundsheet. Do I just forget the holes in the ground sheet and tuck the tent flaps under with pegs only in the tent?

And - the a-frame has popped a hole in the tent canvas - not massive but needs fixing - any recomendations as to the best method to fix it?

Also - we have a slightly older version of the bell tent - I think the new ones have an attachement on the support pole where you can attach the hanging light. We have just bought one of the hanging lights but we don't have an attachment on the pole - any ideas how to attach the hanging light?

Nice one,

Cheers.

Can easily make a bracket to attach hanging light. Just get a hose clamp/jubilee clip (hardware shop, motor factors or whatever) that is the right size to clamp around the pole, and clamp a hook made from a wire coat hanger from it. Simples.

The hole I would just stich.

Pegging out with flaps....can't remember, but read how to do it last year. I've cheated though and gone for ZIG!

Peg out hte groundsheet, put the tent on top, peg to groundsheet holes.  Put pole in.  Peg out guy ropes.  Unpeg tent from groundsheet and, tucking the flaps under the groundsheet, peg the walls back down.

There are instructions you can download from belltent.co.uk

I think they also say about repairing them on there too.

Thanks - that makes sense. Don't think I ever had instructions with mine.

Cheers!

No, none came with mine either, but I think I downloaded ours from soulpad last year, and this year belltent have downloadable ones too.
