Lots of bargains to be had at this time of year. My friend just bought a Scafell Rock 4 man tent from B & Q for £17, a suitcase stove for £4, and a kettle for £2. They only went camping for a few days so didn't want to splash the cash on their first trip. She's now thinking of going more often.
Always check out prices with Go Outdoors before buying elsewhere. They will price match any item (as long as it's the same make and model and you have a G.O card), and minus 10%. Have grabbed a few bargains that way. Best one we had was the Coleman Family camping cook set (which they sell at £24.99), we had them price match with Sports Direct online who were selling them at £18, so we ended up paying £16.20. Good set of pans.

Milletts and Blacks have some very good deals on with tents, tables and coolers amongst other things that caught my eye. Quidco have voucher codes for a further 15% off and you can get a further 6% cashback if you are registered with quidco.
A Hartford L tent list price £400, but generally availabel elsewhere for around £320 can be yours for a mere £160. You can also get the extension for a further £40. What a bargain.
Plus free delivery if you spend £70 before any discounts, Plus a £10 voucher for later use if you spend £50. Get in there before it all goes.

It's great when you buy stuff like that at Saisbury's though, as it comes out of the "housekeeping" and they don't notice!
Not sure whether it's a real bargain or not, but Tesco have Intex single 3in1 airbeds half price just now, I think they were £17.50 - just in case anyone's looking. I was almost tempted by the £4.50 foil backed value camping mats to go under my aerobed, but told myself they'll still be there next time!
