Hi all,
Having previosly posted on here about tent advice after buying a tent and deciding its not right for me I was advised by someone to write a list of what I would like the tent to have then try posting again for some more ideas, so iv been giving this alot of thought and since I now have 2 rubbish tents and a third on the way ( think I have a problem now lol) I now think I know what I would like my ideal tent to have so any tents that you can think of with these specifics would be good.
3 man
lightweight-upto about 7kg (we use public transport)
Sig (or at least bathtub)
Good head height in the main living area (doesnt have to be standing height but at least be able to sit on a chair)
fly net over the doors would be good.
at least 2000hh
and fairly easy to put up for myself and my teenage daughter.
I think that just about covers it, I know im asking alot but there are alot of you out there who could probably point me in the right direction.
Oh cost I forgot...my first 2 tents have been very cheap, argos 4 man vis a vis, I liked the layout of this but it is 2 heavy and 2 weeks ago I bought the eurohike Calder (only because the Vango Milano I ordered was torn when it arrived an the shop didnt have another) i also liked the layout of this and it was easy to pitch, but no sig in the living area makes it very cold, I also hadnt realised the hh of this was only 1500hh. Hahaha forgot to put a price in after all that...could probably go for about £200 at most, dont plan to get anything right now so think I could afford that.
Sorry for the very long post but im not buying another tent (well apart from the old frame one I just won on ebay for £6) until im sure iv got the one that suits us.
Thanks in advance
