Does anyone know of a reasonably priced (under £15) site in the Midlands or Wales? I'm on a strict budget but the girls would love to go camping and so would I. The trouble is I have a very spacious but fuel guzzling vehicle which drives the cost up considerably and therefore I must save on all other aspects of the trip. (I will be getting rid of it, but for now I'm stuck with it.)
Any suggestions really appreciated. I've given up trawling through the search coz I'm finding most places have higher tarrifs during the summer hols................a familiar story I am sure.
have a look at discounts offered by UKCS, you can get some sites, non electric for as little as £7.50 per tent. ( Plus adults, ) some offer free kids or get one night get one free, worth having a look. Good Luck and enjoy your camping.
------------- every time I try to make ends meet, someone moves the ends
I used to go to Beddgellert to a site near a copper mine, it's on a bend just before the shops etc
It used to be £2.40 each per night massive area, stream running through it, closest tent to ours was always 50 - 80 mtrs away, not the best facilities but did the job.
The Owner was quite a funny guy and told us the same joke on entry for 4 yrs running lol wish I could remember it?
The price might have gone up now tho as I aint been back for a few years but would deffo go back... just for the peace and quiet if nowt else... just had a funny memory from there - will post seperate from this lol
------------- There's only ONE thing worse than being talked about, and that's... NOT being talked about! :-)
