I get really uncomfortably in PJs in a sleeping bag - I find they get all tangled round me, ride up, and end up half way up my legs, so I now go for just knickers and a vest top - means if something happened and I had to make a hasty exit in the night everything is covered, but I don't get uncomfortable. I do have a very warm sleeping bag though.
------------- If you go camping to "get away from it all" - why take it all with you?
Normal thin PJs and a one season sleeping bag and a blanket. if it's cold when I go to bed I put a fleece jacket over the bottom to cover my feet area.
trainer socks (as in those you wear in trainers just in case someine thinhs i'm practising how to wear socks) and a t shirt - Sleeping bag and then keep another sleeping bag on hand if it turns nippy.
I wear pyjamas, socks and a hooded sweatshirt so that I can keep my head warm. DD(5) is in a vest, socks, fleece pyjamas and a silk balaclava that is usually used for under her skiing helmet. Snug as a bug in a rug the pair of us.
I mostly wear a pair of merino long johns and a long sleeved merino vest. In winter I wear a fleece and a pair of fleece trousers on top. And a woolly hat. And socks. And gloves. It has to be really really warm for me to just wear a t shirt camping.
------------- There will be good days and bad days and THIS is one of them.
