We went to Pickering (Xmas theme) a couple of years ago.
A very well-organised event with nearly 3,000 units. Apart from us, I saw only 2 other tents.
There were loos available in the main events area but I don't think they were open at night. They would be too far from the camping areas if you were caught out! Would reccomend that you took your own san.
------------- You have to be cruel to be unkind.
Kinky is using using a feather; wierd is using a whole damn chicken!
We go every year. We cycle camp so we can't carry own sanitation. We camp with the Association of Lightweight Campers who usually (except at Pickering 2 years ago) have some loos. If you put on the form that you want to be near the ALC you could probably use the same ones.
At Pickering my partner and I used the loos by the main area, there were loads and it worked fine. The ALC often have an area apart, cos we're special (well weird anyway )
This year my partner, stepson and I are planning to go up on the train from London and cycle in as usual. The lad will be with the CCY and we'll be with the ALC.
Come and say hi :) There are about 6 or 7 units booked with us, we usually manage more, but we are mostly Southern based and Scotland for 4 days is a long way for the older members.
------------- There will be good days and bad days and THIS is one of them.
