We're going away on Saturday for 10 nights. Last year we had a big plastic crate (with lid) and left most food in there - all the packets, tins...and fruit! It soon had some condensation and I'm wondering if it was because of the fruit.

How do you store yours?

Some tins and things like the HP sauce live in the camper cupboards - but the rest lives in a colapsable cupboard from Aldi.   Even before we got the camper we had colapsable cupboards - but the Aldi one is the easiest to put up,    

We put all the cold stuff, veg, temperature sensitive stuff etc in one cool box, packets and things animals could potentially get into in/ or smell in another cool box and tins etc in a cool bag. Early and late season these all sit in the storage pod in the tent and in the summer they all go behind/under the trailer to keep cool. We got 2 good Campingaz cool boxes for a bargain £10 new last year in the sales - so makes sense to use them. For a weekend - it almost all goes in one cool box with the cold stuff nested within a cool bag within the box.

Dry stuff (tins, oats, coffee etc.) in a bag in the tent, hopefully empty for the journey home.

Fresh stuff in cooler bag/bucket of cold water, whatever, or if it can take ambient temperatures (bearing in mind the tent can get very hot during the day) then I would leave it in a bag in the tent, maybe a fabric bag so the fruit/veg can breathe and not sweat.

I could see my hubbys face if i suggested that one, he already moans/jokes that we take everything but the kitchen sink.
