I've been replacing regular towels with micro fiber,
I hardly ever take both suitcase stoves now, instead I take one and my backpacking stove. It's a Primus Eta Express and very useful for quickly boiling water for hot drinks. It packs away to a tiny thing.

I replaced my wide camp kitchen table with a narrower and taller one, with a cupboard underneath. Same pack size as the first one but takes up less space in the tent.

I don't take a barbecue. I buy a cheap one at a filling station or the nearest DIY at the destination and donate it to the neighbours the night before we leave. (or throw it in the bin if they don't want it)

I take a travel version of cluedo and keep an eye out in supermarket for other travel games, but a pack of cards takes up the least space, and gives the most entertainment value.

I don't take any grocery shopping, except tomato sauce for the burgers and olive oil for cooking.

I use satchets of salt and pepper that have been liberated from cafes and fast food places.

I bought cheap towels from a discount shop which are quite flimsy, I got them in a bright colour as I didn't want white ones, and they roll up much smaller than my own towels.

We're upgrading to a T5 campervan, so will lose several huge things, the SI airbeds, they are heavy and take up loads of space, and the tent, of course. Everything else will need to be packed into the van cupboards, we collect on 2nd sept, and leave on 5th. Eeek! (Oh, and I told OH he would have to keep his clothes in a small cupboard instead of the huge leather bag he uses at the mo').

Clothes rail? Teapot? Teacosy? ... all absolute essentials
EDIT: sorry, I missed out the teapot stand

When you drink tea at the rate I do, a teapot and cosy ARE essentials! The kettle would never be off the stove if I didn't have a potful of tea.

I've never taken a clothes rail though. I suppose that means you have to take coat hangers, too.

We're fairly minimalist, but we have just stopped taking the camp table.

We take Tent - Airbeds, pillows, sleeping bags - 1 chair each - couple of pans & kettle - coleman duel fuel stove & trangia - enough crockery & cutlery - food - 1 torch each and a couple of UFOs.
