We bought this tent back in May before hubby had his ankle operation. Just had chance this morning (and the right weather) to get it pitched before we go to the Lakes in a fortnight.
It just about fits in our garden, but as we have the gazebo and pool out we decided to pitch it outside hubby's work instead (plus we got a cooked brekkie when we'd finished from the army kitchen!)
We pinned out the footprint - a great thing, wish we had one for our Utah now. Then after a bit of faffing trying to decide which way the tent went on the footprint we cracked on and had her up in around 30 minutes. We didnt bother doing the storm flaps or the guys, as we just wanted to make sure everything was there really, but I reckon we'd be done in less than an hour, which is about the same time it takes to get out Utah up.
I love the basic shape of this tent, its so much easier to put up as all the poles are the same and its just a rectangle. There were a couple of things which needed tweaking such as the porch poles weren't straight and the sides were a bit flappy, but we could have sorted that if we had been leaving it up. As it was coming straight down we decided not to bother.
Anyway, a couple of piccies - cant wait to get all our kit inside and make it our own!
Love the last picture!
We put our new Vermont up last weekend (pictures somewhere on here!) and had a similar experience trying to re-bag it, ended up with both my wife and her sister doing a Cleopatra style roll along the folded up length trying to squeeze all the air out!!

Yep that last picture looked like us lot on many occasions.
We have a montana 6 and have always struggled to get it back in it bag, in fact, we've come home on some occasions with it just shoved in the trailer, not even in the bag...............until, we had a look at a clip on Youtube a couple of months back.
A bloke from Yeomans demonstrates how to fold and pack away, why we'd never thought of checking on here before I don't know...we've now been on 2 recent trips and the tent is neatly folded and back in its bag within 10 minutes, absolute result!
You can find extra bags on ebay or from your local supplier if they are friendly like mine. Because you will need one as they split the seams lol!! as its a fantastic huge tent but a not quite so good small bag !!!
TBH hubby got it back in the bag first time. The zippers were a bit of a bugger to fasten but we got it done up with very little swearing lol Just hope we can do it as well when we're on a camp site full of people!!!
Hoppers - are you the person from Milnrow? I know I spoke to someone but I forgot the name (mind like a steel trap lol)
Ha, like the pic trying to get it back into the bag. We learnt the knack of getting it in now involving the kids taking turns in rolling along the folded length (or us on occasion when the kids have wandered off!)
I cant wait til next Saturday when we can put all our kit in it and make it cosy! We bought it as a week tent, as we thought it would be too big for weekends. But tbh its easier to put up than our Utah. Reckon we might get more use out of this than we forst thought!
