Highlight.... loved all those orange frame tents.
low point... someone peeling a spud outside their tent... never ever take a veg. peeler camping with you, it's just not right.

Watched it last night on BBC4 followed by a similar program about caravanning. I really enjoyed them both, thought they were very well done and found out some interesting stuff.

I've done a lot of wild camping in England in my youth, down here in the South Downs. It's really easy to discreetly set up camp for an over-nighter in lots of places without anyone getting uppity about it. We even did a couple of over-night stays on farmland after asking the farmer for permission to stay and handing over a couple of quid for a pint.
