Once again I lost this thread but now found it again. I will bookmark for future reference, but have to say we think it's on for us but would love too see some other mad fools. It will be our daughters birthday on New Years Eve and she said she'd like to try something completely mad..

Sorry to hijack this thread folks but I have been waiting for JimJam's name to pop up..............
Hi JimJam!
Thanks for the tarp - it worked a treat......till a storm blew it down and I ended up with a rock peg on the tent roof......luckily no harm was done to tarp or tent!
Here's a pic......
Great match isn’t it?
Back to the thread - I have just registered my interest about a New Year meet in Buxton in Central Meets - the campsite is at the back of a pub......what more could you ask for?
I hope to meet you again in the future, and I hope you both have a great New Year whatever you do!
Tracey
PS: Just for the record – JimJam is not in the habit of giving tarps away – he sells them and I bought one, and very nice it is too

Zenobia what tent is that in the pic? (I like it!) Nice tarp too!
Hi Mzzy
It's a Kampa Polzeath 8 and the pic is from our first camp in it - we did 10 nights at Pillaton (stayed on after the meet), and we are more than happy with it
The Tarp is by Human Comfort and I bought it from JimJam at Pillaton (perfect match) I think he sells them for £75, but I got a discount as it had been used for the Jacobs night - in perfect condition though!
Tracey
PS: I will be adding some more pics in the Tent Reviews Section when I get a chance

I e-mailed Marston Farm but the mobile bar will not be there new year. Disapointing. Anyone know anything a bit central???
There is a thread HERE for a New Year meet in Buxton - it's at the back of a pub as well......way hey!
