I suppose, if you think about it, a tent is unlikely to get nicked when it's standing in a field, and kit rarely goes walkabout on camp sites. Most of the camping gear you hear about being stolen is taken from garages, sheds or house break-ins. And of course if you have an accident, and your trailer is trashed, the extra insurance would come in very handy.
Doesn't cover you for fire, tempest or Act of Kids whilst the tent is in use, but you can probably get that cover from somewhere.
