Ritchie,sorry your not to happy with the tent,with regards to pitching,i can have the 600 up in about 15min.But my first few practice runs i felt like you,sure you will find it easier after a few practices.You might feel different when you get the chance to get it fully pitched and all the guy ropes in,with regrds to the tbs system you really only fully tighten it if the weather gets really windy.

what made it awkward was the tbs system had been fully tightened in the factory making it a nightmare to get the tent up in the first place to get inside the tent to release it

 When are you going to take the Icarus on it's maiden voyage? there is still plenty of time even if you only stick to the normal season, but a tent is like a husky they like to work even in poor weather.

I'm actually contemplating erecting it again today in the garden and giving it a good checking over to see if there are any other faults i didnt spot any yesterday but its always best to be safe than sorry i may even water test it too
