good morin,,,would like to know what everyone does with waste water
we will be washing are pots and pans in are tent,,plus what to do with the boiling water from the veg and other food we cook,,does every 1 just tip it on the grass out side of there tent ,,bear in mind that its boiling water and could stain the grass,,
i was thinking of buying a extra bucket to tip all waste water in to then carry to the sinks at the end of the day
or do you all just tip it on the grass
------------- there's only 1 MOOSE

the bucket is the way to go with all waste water
if you just tip it on the grass at the side of the tent it would make the pitch disgusting for the next person that uses it
just think of all that food waste from the dishes rotting away in the grass it would stink and make the pitch disgusting

We use two buckets with lids, one fits perfectly inside the other one, so it saves space in the car. One bin is used for waste water & emptying the teapot into, and the other one is used with a bin liner as our general waste bin. We empty the waste water bucket at the 'grey water point' on site. If they haven't got a grey water point, then it's emptied down the sink, cleaning the sink well afterwards, or even in the CDP if necessary.

definitely use the bucket method, it leaves the pitch in a much nicer condition for the next campers. We once inherited a pitch complete with peas/rice and other rotting items - disgusting
