Dont like the sound of a defrosted sandwich, with most sandwich fillings it would be soggy when defrosted.

Iceland were selling platters of frozen sarnies for parties last Christmas, worked out a bit expensive through, 8 slices of bread, filled with fairly plain cheese, ham, tuna, egg, and made up into quarters for a fiver!

In my youth I played hockey for a club where we had to take it in turns to do the 'teas'. During the worst weather when matches got cancelled the person on teas would often freeze the sandwiches - I remember eating defrosted egg Mayo and it wasn't too bad. The teas always got eaten so can't have been so bad!!

when myself and my two sister's were  at school my mum use to make all the weeks sandwiches on a sunday and freeze them we took them out the night before and left them in the fridge then took them to school we never had a problem with soggy bread but we did use french stick and i would even say they were slightly better as it soffened the roll we had ham & pickle, cheese & pickle, peanut butter & jam, tuna, cornedbeef & pickle, pate, egg, fish paste, sausage, bacon ,chicken  there was others but i imagine you get the jist of it my mum would never lable them either so it was always pot luck ..lol   unfortunatly you cant freeze fresh veg i.e tomatoes , cucumber
