We're going tomorrow until Friday to Nottinghamshire, weather looks mixed for Tuesday, nice Wednesday and then rain Thursday/Friday but you know if you waited for nice weather in this country to go camping we'd never go! We'll still have a great time
Hi Annie. Where about in Pickering are you staying? We camped there last year and it's a beautiful part of the country. As for camping in the rain.... We spent 4 days in Aviemore in July and it virtually rained the whole time!!! We didnt let it beat us though. You have to just get on with enjoying it. Typically the day we packed up to come home was glorious sunshine. Sods law!!

I'm going for a couple of nights on Wednesday with a friend and our dogs, I'm taking my new wee Zetes and my friend taking her Icarus. I'm off again on Sunday for 2 nights with my husband, daughter, her fiancee and the dog, weather is not looking too good, but we're going and that's that!
Have fun Annie, hope it stays dry for you. I'm off to Riverside Caravan park near Tillicoultry for a couple of nights, weather supposed to be dry today then rain so looks like it'll be soggy tent city when I get back!
