Well it took over a week but I did get a reply from Outwell via the contact form on this site. Didnt get the answer I wanted but that doesnt matter now!
Usually Outwells response is take up your problem with the retailer.
What has Yeomans done to make you never set foot in the place again?Usually they are very good at dealing with customer complaints

To be fair to them once I got passed the spotty oik in my local shop and got to the regional manager I got some answers.
They were selling the Outwell Minnisota 4 for £219. Perfect tent for us and at that price a bargin. I asked the oik if its available next year as we may want a extension for it. Oh yes was his reply deffinatly. So we bought it only to find out its being discontinued next year and no extensions canopys etc will be available. I was offered a full refund by the regional manger but have decided to keep the tent as we like it its too good to change for something else.
