Were you using a footprint under your groundsheet? If so might there have been water trapped between the groundsheet layers? This may have migrated through the Sig with the weight of you walking on it?
I was going to suggest this PigletandTigger. We had the same problem the first time we used our Monty with the footprint as there was a tiny bit of the footprint sticking out the side which served as a funnel and let water between the two layers. Our carpet got wet from the bottom up!
We've also had slight drips inside in heavy rain from seams that have slightly failed. Even a little drip makes quite a damp patch when its lashing it down! Tenacious tape soon sorted it out.
