I have mine on running lines - a rope strung between two dog stakes, with the dog's lead attached to the rope, so they can each travel the full distance of the rope but only a lead's length either side of it.
Carefully positioned, it stops them getting near the guy ropes. Some pitches aren't ig enough for this though, at least not with 2 dogs that have to be pegged out separately (they scrap, and get tangled together).
