Our last trip is on 30/9 for 3 nights to Somerset, Bowdens Crest. The OH does all the xmas shopping at Street, Clarkes Village, while i sit in the pub and watch the footy, hard life
Last one coming up in just over a week's time for our son's birthday - a 3 night stay in Kent for Leeds Castle and the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch railway. Then its down to other (winter) hobbies until the Spring and saving for a camping tour of Austria next year. Going to miss the camping though....
We are off to Northam Farm in Burnham-on-Sea this afternoon for 9 days to chill out £10.00 a night with EHU might fit one more trip in to the gower after this one this year
All done for this year now - no more free weekends
Am comforting myself by planning next year's trips and having frequent trips to GO so I can at least be amongst tents!
------------- Mar - Milarrochy Bay - 9 days
Apr - Drayton Manor - 1 day
May - Saxdale - 4 days
May - Nantcol - 9 days
July - Weymouth - 1 day
July - Rozel Bay - 14 days
Aug - Corfe Castle - 2 days
Aug - Saxdale - 4 days
Sep - Stratford - 2 days
Oct - Stainforth - 2 days
Dec - Saxdale - 5 days
To be continued.....

One more night for us although its something different!
No large tent or weekend tent this time, the Vango Tempest 200 gets its maiden outing. We are off backpacking (sort of) for 2 days. Walking from home to Woodhall Spa Petwood site about 20 miles then return leg on next day. A trial run for possably doing more of the same but bigger next year.
Have only managed 4 trips this year. Hoping to fit in another weekender at the end of September and I think that will be us. I'm starting a new job Mon-Fri so it doesn't give me much of an opportunity for mid week quiet camping next year so for sure next year it's EHU and early and late in the year camping!
Because of work and personal things we have not been away to try our new Monty 6 .......but have finally managed to secure the Sept weekend off work and we are booked into Blair Castle for the Fri / Sat / Sun..........we can't wait .......hope weather is kind to us
just got back from a local weekend, and the gear is packed neatly in the corner of the dining room ready for our last outing of the year next weekend to our favourite site - High Yedmondale near Scarborough.
------------- Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways --- champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other --- screaming... WOOHOO, WHAT A RIDE!"
