It alld epends on how old you are and how many people are in your party. We used to be members of the c and c because kids camped free and there were specail family deals. We are also members of the caravan  club. We prefer cc  as we are now retired and prefer quieter sites! Families I feel that the c and c club offer better value but for couples and the retired I would suggest the caravan club/ Allmuch of a muchness its just what suits your needs best!

I also can't think what rules anyone would object to.Yes you have to wait to be shown to your pitch,but we have always been given a choice.
Yes the have a 6m rule between units..but that's good and in the campers interest.
And the best rule imo is that they don't tolerate loutish/drunken behaviour,nor can you turn up in the early hours of the morning pitching your unit.
