Amazon has the Coleman fold and go 2 burner stoves for £42.11 in stock. A trip to go outdoors earlier and they price matched it for me for £37.90, I am a happy bunny indeed. HTH someone.

I have set it up , so easy and quick.....and much smaller than the 2 suitcases I take normally.

Has anyone got one - can you tell me very roughly how long the propane lasts?

Now, the sun is going to be out for the weekend - tempted to get a crafty camp in with my daughter, I'm on a inset day tomorrow. My son has a footie match Sunday so he won't be able. Need to convince my daughter so I can try out stove.....

I would grab the chance - the forecast is very good and that new stove must be field tested ASAP

Just tried to get this at GO Wigan and was told they don't price match with Amazon (apparently says on their website, but I can't see it).

I had a printout of their price guarantee which states they will match ANY UK website but not auction sites. I argued with them, but they were adamant.

I called the customer line on the price guarantee page and was told the same. They said that with Amazon they couldn't rely on where the item is sold (ie marketplace), but I argued that it was in stock at Amazon themselves. They still wouldn't budge.

I'm going to send them an email to see what they say.

Sadly, she would not agree with me. I was admonished at length as it would mean missing her brownie parade at church on Sunday.

I am gutted by my kids activities getting in the wayof camping.

Oh that's not good. They do but only from Amazon itself.

I have had a similar issue with them a couple of months back. I was dooing a pricematch on a coleman cook set. They said it wasn't amazon itself and couldn't do the price match. I showed them the amazon  page itself on their computer which showed the item in stock . The manager was called - he confirmed it was auction sites (ebay etc) and it does say market stalls on their wording not market sites.

So the manager ruled that the price matching was indeed within the price match guarantee. In linet to their wording (full wording displayed bigger than AO size next to where we stood. There is a more comprehensive wording at the store than on the site.

Good luck, but my local go outdoors this is standard but only wbuying direct from Amazon.

Certainly sounds not fair/right though.

I've sent them an email to see what happens.

Incidentally the lady I spoke to on the phone said I might as well buy it from Amazon as 10% of £42.11 isn't very much anyway!

Way to keep my business!

Paying £37.90 against £42.11 is quite substantial otherwise I wouldn't have wasted my time and petrol and mobile phonecall costs trying to get it.

That is weird- if the amount 'isn't very much anyway', then surely it's not worth damaging their customer relations with you and it would be easier to honor the price promise.

Saying that I know go's price is £63.99 ?

I think GoOutdoors won't match Amazon because very often Amazon links take you to eBay.
