Just Friday and saturday, fairly local in Oxfordshire.

Wish me luck .  I'm going with my friend (childfree), she is a TOTAL camping sceptic and it has taken me 3 years of  hard convincing that it can be fun.

I'm excited , sure it will be a blast  -a weekend of no responsibility to children, loads of chat and laughs and as we are old enough a couple of sherbets to keep us warm also. My dd is away at brownie pack holiday and I am leaving the male members of my family to the football.

A bar close by that searves food what more could a person want.

She has been on the phone laughing at her stupidity for agreeing to it. Although with 3 kids between age 12 and 3 she is totally looking forward to it.

Her whole family want to camp (hubbie's & 1 son keen fishermen), she feels that if she can enjpy it next weekend in the bluster and wet, it's all go for her to go and get the whole family set up for camping - so a camping family for us next year.

Enjoy it everyone who's getting away also for the end of 'the season'.

Must admit the tent drying on return isn't flooding me with joy.
