The only tent I sold was the Lichfield Kiowa 5, because it was non sig, it had a bathtub groundsheet and the walls didn't reach the ground leaving a 6in gap all the way around the front part. This caused a problem because the dog, who, attached to her tether would go in and out of each pegging point causing a whole cats cradle of a mess.

I loved the single pole design and would be very tempted to buy the Lichfield Findhorn 4 which does have a sig.  But at £199 I think it's too expensive. I don't need any more tents anyway.

I have two tents identical Khyam ridgidome xl one in canvas and one in nylon. guess which one runs with condensation and stays unused which reminds me I must sell a nylon ridgidome and then I can reminiss how it was very good as a camping shower and oh how I miss waking up to a wet sleeeping bag. Canvas is the way of the future for me even if it is from the past our first tent 30 years ago was a litchfied and weighed a ton but it was great I love going back to the future

Got rid of my first tent an skandika ten man dome tent. Not very impressed . I also got rid of a coleman weathemaster this tent I think is fab for weekends. So easy to put up but i am limited to how many
tents I can have.
My weekender now is a vango amazon 600 with an other one which had the sleeping section cut out so now have massive extension that clips onto the front . For long stays i have a gelert zenith 8 man .

We started off well in our first foray into camping and got a Montana 6 then set about adding just about everything available for it.  At the end of that first season I thought we would add a canvas tent to our kit and bought a really nice Cabanon Athena thinking that we would still use the Montana for shorter breaks but one holiday in the Athena and we realised this wouldn't be the case.  So we ebayed the the Montana and it sold to a family about 5 doors away!!!!  Thing is they never left me feedback either - but I spotted my tent in the back of their car sometime in August so at least they like it enough to still be using it!

OH is at me to sell the Athena in Spring but I think I may tell him I listed it but it didn't sell

I got rid of my first £20 tent from Tesco, used twice and sold for £12 to an ex-housemate.  Not bad I thought ;)

It was a two man dome, and TINY.  With an airbed, I could barely lie out straight and not touch the sides, despite being only 5'3; let alone get anything else in it.  Fly was dark blue but inner was the yellow of this site...and attracted bugs like a mating call.  Was a good little tent though, it did withstand quite a storm in Cornwall (which a nearby, much more expensive, tent did not by the sounds of it) and didnt leak on me.  But realistically not very practical and so when he offered to buy it, I snapped his hand off LOL

Well I think we have found a common theme for selling, once you try canvas the polyester has to go.
My biggest worry before buying canvas was drying the tent out after packing up wet. It has not really been a problem and the canvas dries a lot faster than polyester. When packing away at Pillaton my Rosas was dry enough to not worry about having to get it back out at home, my daughter in a Carolina next door had to pack away a wet tent.
