I can't go camping at this moment in time due to family commitments.:( but as soon as I can I will :) My question is will my tent be okay in the attic it has been 3 years so far what care does it need. I would be very upset if anything happens to her.

It should be fine, as long as it's not getting damp, which it won't in an attic.

We've managed to find space in the wardrobe for our flysheets. Extremes of hot and cold can damage the windows and polyester flysheet of a tent, and one of our flysheets we want as a replacement for our existing tent in years to come.

The best advice is to keep them in a dark dry stable temperature environment not near heat sources (radiators) or extreme cold. If you can find space for the flysheet and inners within the main part of the house I would....

Be warned - a friend of ours had their loft insulated and lost their airflow as a result - they ended up with a massive condensation problem in the loft and all bedding and fabrics kept up there went mouldy.. so would a tent...

            Before you consider using the tent for tenting, it needs to be fully checked.

Despite being careful before packing it away, there is a possibility it was not fully dry. Three years is a long time of non use.

Hopefully all will be well when you set it up.
When you bought it, it was a popular 4 person tunnel tent, now discontinued.
Hopefully you got it for less than the RRP of 250 GBP?

My similarly sized tent would be in use this winter, if I had a suitable place to dry it out after use. I've had to use the smaller dome tent instead.
It took a week to dry my Outwell after our last venture, despite taking great care, there is still the nagging doubt I missed something.

It'll be after we return from the Philippines in February, before we next use the Outwell. Probably April?

Just out of interest, when do you next plan to use it?
Or are you hoping for a new one for the 25th?

It will depend how dry and well ventilated your loft is.  I wouldn't trust a tent in mine!

The tent is okay so is the kitchen tent :)  I need to keep up to date with all things camping ( what is new etc)

I miss the great outdoors and really look forward to the day I go again :)
