Just booked Rivendale for 11-14th Feb, taking Khyam Cleveland and EHU (for heating)...paid for a reserved sheltered pitch...even the toilet block has underfloor heating...can't wait!!!
Just emailed Anne (fostermum) last night to find out what's happening at February half term and we are looking for somewhere similar, probably a C&CC site..... Either Sandringham or Thetford depending on who else is coming And I too cannot wait, it's been too long!!!

we've not been under canvas since september, can't wait for tea and silence, sat in the tent doorway at 7am....bliss
Unfortunately, with an 8 year old for company there isn't always silence at 7am but it's nice when he has a lie-in and we can sneak half an hour of "bliss" before he wakes up LOL
we only do Rivendale out of season as it can be a little busy otherwise, but in Feb the EHU and excellent facilities on-site make it an ideal place. And with very few campers, mainly tin canners, at the other emd of the site!
Just had a look at Rivendale as not too far away but its looks like its at least £19.50 per night and the pitches aren't suitable for tents?? The website was a little slow so I may be looking at wrong price but otherwise its more than we are paying in Apr and June per night
We've just booked fro Easter weekend to 'Royal Wedding' weekend and it's now fully booked already. Looks like a great site, i hope it doesn't disappoint. Does anyone have a photos to temp us?...
At the mo my first trip is planned for the Royal Wedding weekend, however, it is so far away I have decided to have a short trip in March.

I have just looked at this site and it looks lovely. I used the online booking form to work out the price and it looks like it will cost about £75 for two adults and a dog late April. It doesn't seem
to book in tents till after the middle of April when the price raises from £17.50pppn to £23pppn. If I can't convince my husband to go I might just go me and the dog as it will work out cheaper!
Ah I am so envious!!!!! Here in south Germany winter is far from over with snow and freezing minus temp expected again tomorrow. If we are lucky and easter looks warm we might be able to get away then....
however enjoy all your breaks I really hope they are all successful whatever the weather and drink a cup of tea for me!!!!
We are getting our first puppy soon....so maybe we will be camping in Easter with her in tow!!!!!
