I get in a twist, doesn't matter what I wear what I do it happens every time   As I also feel the cold a lot I'm loathe to change from my mummy bag though - but the idea of a double bag just for me is very very tempting... ! Probably I'd be too cold though, think the reason the mummies are warmer is cos there's not too much air too heat. It's a pain isn't it ?
Yes, that's my dilemma too. I'm afraid to use a wider bag or bedding as I feel the cold, so it seems to be a choice between comfort or warmth.

We went through the same thought process, and ended up with really big, thick single square bags with plenty of insulation. Warm and comfortable ... not the smallest pask size in the world though.

If it was a choice of comfort or warmth, for me it would have to be the warmth.

We have mummy bags and they turn with us.  I usually pull the drawstring in quite tight.  I sometimes get in a bit of a muddle, but I'm usually fine.

Our bags have a smooth / shiny lining, and we use cotton liners (the red one of which STILL BLEEDS EVERYWHERE EVERY TIME WE WASH IT, EVEN AFTER 8 YEARS - sorry, I just had to get that off my chest.)
