Just booked for June at Thetford. Figured it was better to get a week local and have a bit more cash spare, than go further afield. Hope to get a long weekend in before then, but that really depends on weather.
We camped 5 miles away from home last year for 5 days and had the most fantastic time, having a short journey home after packing up was just bliss. We realised that there were loads of places on our doorstep that we didn't know existed or that we didn't visit! (we had to be close to home for various domestic reasons).
Not sure where or when our first trip will be, likely to be May or June and probably local'ish again.
