Quite a few of us have. If you have a look at recent threads you'll find several on just this topic.

May not be open in March (Easter-October on its UKCS listing), but we have camped at Barmouth in early March - cold but survivable!

As long as it's not your 21st birthdays you are both celebrating then go for it.  Remember to take the hot water bottles and plenty fleece blankets or better still just cuddle up to keep cozy.

I Have and it was bl**dy freezing day and night - even with EHU. Its kind of miserable at night too, because you are stuck in the tent if its rotten weather and trying to stay dry and warm. Very quiet though, but bear in mind the weather can get quite extreme (gale force winds, flooding, snow etc). Its still really the winter.

If you want to go for it though, just make sure you take enough clothes to keep warm.

Brrrrrrrrr. I think it will be very cold.

I am not one to feel the cold and it is the middle of Feb and I am so cold.

However camping is always fun. Wrap up warm and cuddle in!

Go for it. Wind is the real issue especially at cae du. We use a fan heater and never been cold. Watch DVDs that we missed in cinema at night. Doesn't feel sad feels cozy. And no chavs screaming and shouting all day/night. BBQ not really possibly. So get yourself a slow cooker! Happy birthday

We try and get out in March, we went to Waters Edge (Cumbria) in March and the duck pond froze but also went to Cae Due in June and got gales and torrential rain.

IMO if you have the right gear,go for it

You are in a beautiful location, don't worry about the weather too much. Take good weatherproof gear to stay warm and dry. Don't forget you may also be blessed with some beautiful warm spring sunshine, in which case I wouldn't want to be any where else

We camp all year round so march wouldnt be a problem but id be watching the weather for a camp a Cae Du . Rain and wind is one thing but sea spray could be quite interesting . id go for it and if the weather isnt good for Cae Du move inland theres plenty of sites open allyear in that area

we went to Braithwaite the weekend just gone, with sleeping bags, fleece blankets, a down duvet and warm clothing we were toasty!

Just make sure your bedroom is big enough for all the bedding
