Help needed , we have got a 3ft - 4ft trailer but a company wants £120 to add 12 inches extra height on it any help to build the sides higher myself or am i better getting a bigger trailer!

2 x 2 wooden post in each corner and planks round the side. Don't need to fix it in. It will sit there safely and can be lifted out when not required.

I have one made of galv steel,i think it cost me about 40 quid for some more galv ,bought some inch ally angle cut to size then fixed together with rivets, fitted three hinges to one side for the galv lid then stuck some window draft excluder on bottom edge, where it sits on top of trailer and some under the lid to keep out water ,fitted four catches to fix it down looks just like a bought one, also fitted a three foot by four foot roof top box on top looks brill to buy it would have cost me about 400 quid
